Kiira Dosdall
Kiira Dosdall-Arena (born July 31, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey player, who currently plays with the Metropolitan Riveters of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She has previously won two Elite Women's Hockey League championships and one Isobel Cup, and is the seventh longest tenured player in PHF history, one of the few still active from the league's inaugural season. Playing career Early career From 2005 to 2009, Dosdall played for the Colgate Raiders ice hockey team, serving as the team's captain in her senior season. Across 134 NCAA games with Colgate, she scored 63 points. She was nominated for the 2008-09 Patty Kazmaier Award. Professional After graduating, Dosdall moved to Austria to join the EHV Sabres Vienna of the Austrian Women's Ice Hockey Bundesliga (DEBL) and the Elite Women's Hockey League (EWHL), where she would play until 2013. New York Riveters
The Metropolitan Riveters (originally the New York Riveters) are a professional women's ice hockey team based in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with home games at the American Dream Meadowlands ice rink. They were one of the four charter franchises of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), now known as the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Its team name and logo are based upon Rosie the Riveter, the subject of the World War II-era motivational poster "We Can Do It!". The Riveters played one season in Brooklyn before moving to the New Jersey Devils practice rink in Newark, New Jersey, in 2016. Toronto Furies
The Toronto Furies were a professional women's ice hockey team that played in Toronto, Ontario, as members of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. The Toronto Furies played their home games at the Mastercard Centre in Toronto. The team was established in 2010 as an expansion team called Toronto CWHL during a league-wide restructuring. The team adopted the name "Furies" after the 2011 Clarkson Cup. The club won the 2014 Clarkson Cup championship in 1–0 overtime victory over the Boston Blades.
