Kier Gist
Keir Lamont Gist (born September 15, 1969), professionally known by his stage name KayGee, is an American DJ and record producer from East Orange, New Jersey, best known as a member of hip hop trio Naughty by Nature. He has won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 38th Annual Grammy Awards for ''Poverty's Paradise''. In the mid-'90s, Gist created his own R&B-oriented record label, Illtown, which was evolved and developed into Divine Mill, where he discovered and signed acts such as Zhané, Next, Jaheim, Tha' Rayne and Koffee Brown. Koffee Brown was an American R&B and neo-soul duo consisting of male singer Falonte "Fonz" Moore and female singer Vernell "Vee" Sales. Miilkbone
Thomas Wlodarczyk (born March 4, 1974), better known by his stage name Miilkbone, is an American rapper and songwriter. Career Miilkbone began his career by recording cassettes with Biz Markie, eventually becoming an affiliate of Naughty by Nature. He signed a record deal with Capitol Records in 1993 and released his debut album, ''Da' Miilkrate'' on June 21, 1995. The album featured two singles, " Keep It Real", and " Where'z Da' Party At ?", which were minor hits on the rap charts. After a four-year hiatus caused by the shutting down of Capitol's urban department, Miilkbone resurfaced in 1999, appearing on Death Row Records' '' Chronic 2000'' compilation. His track, "Presenting Miilkbone" was an answer record to Eminem's "Just Don't Give a Fuck", in which the latter attacked several other white rappers and said he would "crush a Miilkbone". ''Rottin ta da Core'' is the first and only studio album by American rap group Rottin Razkals. It was released on March 14, 1995 through Illtown/ Mad Sounds Recordings and was produced by the group's mentors, Naughty by Nature. The album managed to make it to three different Billboard charts, #190 on the ''Billboard'' 200, #28 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #14 on the Top Heatseekers and featured two charting singles. Rottin Razkals
The Rottin Razkals were an American hip hop group signed to Motown Records' sub-label, Mad Sounds Recordings. Composed of three members, Chap, Fam, and Diesel (Treach's younger brother), the group was closely associated with Naughty by Nature, first appearing on their 1993 album, ''19 Naughty III'' on the song "Knock Em Out Da Box". Eventually landing a deal with Motown, the Rottin Razkals' debut album, '' Rottin ta da Core'', was released on March 14, 1995. Though the album did not make it very high on the charts, only peaking at #190 on the ''Billboard'' 200, two singles from the album found some success on the Hot Rap Singles chart, "Hey Alright" and " Oh Yeah" made it to #23 and #14 on the chart respectively. ''Pronounced Jah-Nay'' is the debut studio album by American R&B group Zhané. It was released on February 15, 1994, via Motown. Recording sessions took place at Enterprise Studios and at Encore Studios in Burbank, at Marion Recording Studio in Fairview, New Jersey, and at Unique Recording Studios and at Soundtrack Studios in New York City.
