Kids On Bikes
Kids on Bikes is a tabletop role-playing game system, and a series of games that use that system. It has won multiple ENNIE Awards. History The first game in the series, ''Kids on Bikes'', was inspired by 1980s coming-of-age movies like ''The Goonies''. Cass Marshall for ''Polygon'' recommended it for fans of ''Stranger Things''. ''Kids on Bikes'' won the 2019 Gold ENNIE Awards for Best Family Game / Product, and ''Kids on Bikes: Strange Adventures! Volume Two'' won the same award in 2020. In 2022, the second edition of ''Kids on Bikes'' raised $182,049 on Kickstarter from 2,793 backers. The ENNIE Awards (previously stylized as ENnie Awards) are awards for role-playing game (RPG) products (including game-related accessories, publications, and art) and their creators. The awards were created in 2001 by Russ Morrissey of EN World in partnership with Eric Noah's Unofficial D&D Third Edition News. The ceremony has been hosted at Gen Con in Indianapolis since 2002. Since 2018, EN World is no longer associated with the awards. The ENNIES comprise two rounds. In the first round, publishers submit their products for nomination. Entries are judged by five democratically elected judges. The nominated products are voted on by the public in the second round. ''Misfits and Magic'' is the tenth season of '' Dimension 20'', an actual play tabletop role-playing game show. It was aired from June 30, 2021 to July 21, 2021 on Dropout with two specials released in December 2021 and August 2022. Inspired by ''Harry Potter'', the show features Aabria Iyengar as the game master and Erika Ishii, Brennan Lee Mulligan, Danielle Radford, and Lou Wilson as Americans who are invited to a Hogwarts-like school to study magic.
