''Kidi'' () is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film starring Bhuvan Chandra, Pallavi Gowda, Danny Kuttappa and Ugrham Manju. It was directed by S. Raghu and produced by Master's Choice Creations. It is a remake of the 2016 Malayalam-language film ''Kali''. Plot Bhuvan (R Bhuvan Chandra), a man with anger management issues, tries to control his temper for the sake of his wife, Nandhini(Pallavi Gowda). However, things take a turn when they drive on a highway one night. ''Kali'' () is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed and co-produced by Sameer Thahir. It stars Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. It is the second collaboration of Thahir and Salmaan, after ''Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi'' (2013). The film was shot in Kochi, Vagamon, Athirappilly, Masinagudi, and Gudalur. ''Kali'' was released on 26 March 2016 to critical and commercial success. It has since been remade in Kannada as ''Kidi''. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer.
