''Kideo TV'' was a syndicated anthology packaging by DIC Enterprises and LBS Communications, which premiered in April 1986. The show's name is a portmanteau of "kid" and "video". Hosts The show was hosted by four youths in auto racing attire with chassis on their shoulders. They included a boy, 4U ( Mark Hennessy) and a girl, Euphoria, who were the "good kids" of the show, and they taught lessons to the reckless Fast Lane, a fiery-haired teen with a flame-decorated chassis on his shoulders and the chubby, impressionable Couch Potato. These sketches were under five minutes in length, and their lessons were restated by Bob Keeshan, and the youths also did commercial bumpers. While this material was originally credited, no resources have made note of who was involved, and it is omitted from rerun packages. Popples (1986 TV Series)
''Popples'' is an animated television series, based on the Popples toys, created by Marie Cisterino, Janet Jones, Fran Kariotakis, Janet Redding, and Susan Trentel, that aired in syndication in the United States from 1986 to 1987 and Sky Channel in the United Kingdom from 1987 to 1988. The cartoon was produced by DIC Enterprises and LBS Communications in association with The Maltese Companies. Like the toys which they are based on, the Popples resemble colorful teddy bears/rabbits with long, pompom-tipped tails, and they have pouches on their backs that allow them to curl into a fuzzy ball. All the Popples stutter when they say words with the letter "P" in them. The name "Popple" is a reference to the popping sound they make when unfolding themselves from such a ball, or pulling objects from their pouches. ''Rainbow Brite'' is a 1980s animated series based on Hallmark's media franchise of the same name. Produced by DIC Enterprises with animation provided by Japanese TMS Entertainment, the show began as a part of DIC's ''Kideo TV ''syndicated anthology package. In the series, Rainbow Brite uses her magical belt to protect the colors of Rainbowland from the bumbling Murky & Lurky. Premise A young girl named Wisp is brought to a dark, desolate land with the mission to bring color to this fictional world by locating the "Sphere of Light". Along the way, she befriends a sprite named Twink and a talking horse named Starlite. She also finds a mysterious baby who turns out to be the key to her mission. With the help of her new friends, Wisp locates the legendary Color Belt and rescues the seven Color Kids, who had been trapped by the King of Shadows. (french: link=no, Ulysse 31) is an anime series (1981) that updates the Greek mythology of Odysseus (known as "Ulixes" or "Ulysses" in Latin) to the 31st century. The show comprises 26 half-hour episodes as a co-production between DIC Audiovisuel and TMS Entertainment. Plot The series (made by the French Jean Chalopin) follows the struggles of Ulysses and his crew against the divine entities that rule the universe, the ancient gods from Greek mythology.
