	Martin David Kiar Martin David "Marty" Kiar (born June 19, 1977) is a Democratic politician who currently serves as the Broward County Property Appraiser. Kiar was formerly the Mayor of Broward County and a Broward County Commissioner, representing the 1st District from 2012 to 2016. Prior to being elected to the Broward County Commission, Kiar served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2006 to 2012, representing the 97th District.
