The Minnamurra River, an open mature wave dominated barrier estuary, is located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. Location and features Minnamurra River rises within the Budderoo National Park on the eastern slopes of the Illawarra escarpment, west of the village of Jamberoo and north of Missingham Pass, and flows generally east, descending the Minamurra Falls. Bombo is a suburb of the Municipality of Kiama, in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located north of Kiama. Etymology Bombo is derived from "Thumbon", the name of a renowned headman and warrior born in this district. Minnamurra is a suburb in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia, in the Municipality of Kiama. It has a station (opened 1891) on City Rail South Coast line.
