Khwab
''Khwab'' () is a 1980 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film directed by Shakti Samanta, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Ranjeeta Kaur, Naseeruddin Shah and Yogeeta Bali . The film was loosely based on the 1951 film A Place in the Sun which itself is based on the 1925 novel ''An American Tragedy'' by Theodore Dreiser. Plot Pratap Kumar Srivastav (Mithun Chakraborty) travels from Shyamnagar to Bombay, and is hired by his father's friend, Ram Prasad ( Madan Puri). He rents a room in a Chawl in Borivali's 'Asha Manzil' where his friend, Gopal Mathur ( Naseeruddin Shah) and his attractive sister, Maya (Yogeeta Bali) also live. Pratap's main aim is to succeed in life, become rich, and buy a flat in posh Malabar Hills. Hemlata (singer)
Hemlata (born 16 August 1954) is an Indian classically trained playback singer in Bollywood. She is best known for her songs in the late 1970s, especially Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se song. She was nominated for Filmfare Best Female Playback Award five times in the period of 1977–81 and won once for Chitchor in 1977 for her classical rendition of "Tu Jo Mere Sur Mein" which was duet with K.J. Suresh Wadkar
Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. He has sung songs in some Bhojpuri films, Odia albums and bhajans and in Konkani films. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018 for Sugam Sangeet. Utpal Dutta () (29 March 1929 – 19 August 1993) was an Indian actor, director, and writer-playwright. Sujit Kumar (7 February 1934 – 5 February 2010) was an Indian actor and producer. He appeared in over 150 Hindi films in the 1960s through the 1990s, and in at least 20 Bhojpuri films.
