Khushal Singh Virk was the second chief of Singhpuria Misl from 1753 to 1795, extending its territory on both sides of the Sutlej River. His 'acquired' lands included Jalandhar, Nurpur, Bahrampur, Patti and Bharatgarh. Jalandhar doab and adjoining areas yielded an annual income of three lakh rupees. Khushal Singh Jamadar
Raja Khushal Singh Jamadar (1790 – 17 June 1844) was a military officer and Chamberlain (office), chamberlain of the Sikh Empire. He was conferred the title of ''Raja'' for his conquest of Dera Ghazi Khan, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Kangra and other military expeditions. He was a notable figure of the state.
