Khulood
''Khulood'' ( ar, خلود, en, Immortality, also transliterated as ''Khulud'' and ''Kholud'') is an Egyptian 1948 romance film. It starred Faten Hamama, Kamal al-Shennawi, and Ezz El-Dine Zulficar, who also directed and wrote the film. It is the only movie that Zulficar has acted in. Plot A man named Mahmoud falls in love with Layla, a beautiful lady. Another man, Hasan, has also fallen in love with Layla. Layla is shot as a consequence of their vying for her affections. Amal, Layla's daughter, also loves Nabil, Hasan's son. Ezz El-Dine Zulficar
Ezz El-Dine Ahmed Mourad Zulficar (Egyptian Arabic: عز الدين ذو الفقار, ; October 28, 1919 – July 1, 1963) was an Egyptian film director, screenwriter, actor and producer known for his distinctive style, which blends romance and action. Zulficar is widely regarded one of the most influential filmmakers in Egyptian Cinema's golden age. Early life Ezz El-Dine Ahmed Mourad Zulficar was born in Cairo on 28 October 1919, his father Ahmed Mourad Bek Zulfikar was a senior director of police and his mother Nabila Hanem Zulfikar was a housewife. Faten Hamama
Faten Ahmed Hamama ( ar, فاتن حمامه  ; 27 May 1931 – 17 January 2015) was an Egyptian film and television actress and film producer. She was the first wife of Ezz El-Dine Zulficar. She made her screen debut in 1939, when she was only seven years old. Her earliest roles were minor, but her activity and gradual success helped to establish her as a distinguished Egyptian actress. Later revered as an icon in Egyptian cinema. In 1996, nine of the films she starred in were included in the Top hundred films in the history of Egyptian cinema by the cinema critics of Cairo International Film Festival. After a seven-year hiatus from acting, Hamama returned in 2000 in what was a much anticipated television series, '' Wageh El Amar'' (وجه القمر, ''Face of the Moon''). Ismail Yasseen
Ismail Yassine (also credited as ''Ismail Yasseen''; ar, إسماعيل ياسين ; 15 September 1912 - 24 May 1972) was an Egyptian comedian actor, and is considered as one of the greatest comedians in Egypt. Personal life Ismail Yassine had a difficult childhood in Suez where he was born. His mother died at an early age and his father was jailed thus forcing him to leave school before completing his primary education. He worked as a parking valet to support himself.
