Kholodna Hora (kharkiv Metro)
Kholodna Hora ( uk, Холодна Гора, ; russian: Холо́дная Гора́, meaning ''cold mountain'') is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska Line. The station is the western terminus of the line and was opened on 23 August 1975. It is located under the Poltavsky Shosse, in the middle of the ''Kholodna Hora'' residential district in the western part of Kharkiv. Until 8 October 1995, the station and the street on which it is located were known as Vulytsia Sverdlova (Sverdlov Street). Also, a bas-relief portrait of communist leader Yakov Sverdlov was located on the station, later removed. Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska Line
The Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska line ( uk, Холодногірсько-Заводська лінія, russian: Холодногорско-Заводская линия) is a line of the Kharkiv Metro, serving Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine. The line is the first segment of the Kharkiv Metro system, in operation since 1975. It is longest of the system's three metro lines at and has the most number of stations (at 13), compared to the other two lines' 8 (on Saltivska line) and 9 (at Oleksiivska line) station segments.
