Khodor Salame
Khodr Jihad Salame ( ar, خضر جهاد سلامة; born 4 December 1984) is a Lebanese former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Salame helped Safa reach the final of the 2008 AFC Cup, defeating Indian club Dempo in the semi-final. In March 2021, Salame joined Sagesse in the Lebanese Second Division ahead of the second leg of the 2020–21 season. Salame retired at the end of the season. Baraachit
Baraachit ( ar, برعشيت ), also spelt Brashit, is a rural town located in the Nabatiye Governorate, in the Bint Jbeil District of southern Lebanon, ca. southeast of Tibnine and about from Beirut. The village sits on an elevation of above sea level. The town has a mixed population of Shi'a and Christians. History The village once marked the northernmost extent of Jewish settlement upon their return from Babylonia in the 4th century BCE, and is mentioned in the 3rd century Mosaic of Rehob. By 64 BCE, the region had come under the control of the Roman empire. The area was also known since ancient times as Jabal 'Amilah, and later as Jabal 'Amil (Jabal Amel), an area that shoulders the Galilee and overlooks Palestine, with a predominant Shi'ite population. 2012–13 Lebanese Premier League
The 2012–13 Lebanese Premier League is the 52nd season of top-tier football in Lebanon. A total of twelve teams are competing in the league, with Safa the defending champions. The season kicked off on 28 September and finished on 16 June 2013, longer than usual, but due to the national team getting to the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC Fourth Round. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each.
