Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Khmelnytskyi Oblast ( uk, Хмельни́цька о́бласть, translit=Khmelnytska oblast; also referred to as Khmelnychchyna — uk, Хмельни́ччина) is an oblast (province) of western Ukraine covering portions of the historical regions of western Podolia and southern Volhynia. The administrative center of the oblast is the city of Khmelnytskyi. The current estimated population is around . Created in 1937 out of border okrugs of Vinnytsia Oblast, in 1941–44 it was under Nazi Germany occupation and part of the Reichskommissariat Ukraine (Wolhynien und Podolien general district). Following the Kamenets-Podolsky pocket in spring of 1944 as part of the Proskurov-Chernovtsy operation, Soviet troops removed the German occupation in the region. FFU Council Of Regions
Regional football federations of Ukraine is associated members of Football Federation of Ukraine in regions of Ukraine. In 2000, Football Federation of Ukraine created Council of Regions for the development of football in the regions throughout the country. It was dissolved in 2010. Description There are 24 active members, while membership of other 3 association is suspended due to the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Each region conducts its own championship, while most of them has also the second and the third tiers of league competitions. Each region also conducts a regional cup competitions as well as some additional regional tournaments. Along with it each regional federation has several smaller regional federations of its own (raion and city federations). FC Podillya Khmelnytskyi is a professional Ukrainian football team that is based in Khmelnytskyi, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine. The club competes in the Ukrainian Second League. History Soviet era Established in the Soviet Union as part of the Dynamo sports society in 1926 as Dynamo Proskurov (Proskuriv), the club participated mostly in championships of the city and its region. In 1940 and 1941, it represented the region in the republican competitions among the sports societies of Ukraine. During World War II, the Soviet sports competitions were suspended and the club was disbanded. After the World War II, Podillya once again started out as a subsection of the Soviet Dynamo athletic franchise in 1948, under the name of Dynamo, of course. Khmelnytskyi National University is a Ukrainian university in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. History Established on June 1962 with the development of a general-technical department of the Ukrainian Academy of Printing, Ukrainian Printing Institute, 250 students were accepted into the first year of evening courses and distance study. About 200 students were transferred from other higher educational establishments to upper courses of distance study. In January 1966, the faculty was reorganized into the branch of the Ukrainian Printing Institute. Mechanical and General-technical faculties were functioning. 520 students were accepted to the first year of study, among them 90 full-time students. 30 more students were accepted to the second year of full-time study of Mechanical faculty.
