Football Club Kheybar Khorramabad (, ''Bashgah-e Futbal-e Xiber Xeremâbad''), commonly known as FC Kheybar, is an Iranian football club based in Khorramabad, Lorestan, that competes in the Azadegan League. The football team plays their home games at the Takhti Stadium which has a seating capacity of 10,000. The club is owned by Dr. Masoud Abdi. History Establishment In 1984 FC Kheybar Khorramabad was founded during the Iran-Iraq War. In 2014 Khorramabad were promoted to the 2nd Division. That following year Kheybar Khorramabad finished second in their group and were placed in the promotion Play-off. Kheybar Khorramabad won against Esteghlal B 2–1 in the play-off and was promoted to the Azadegan League. Azadegan League On 17 August 2015 after many years in the Provincial Leagues Kheybar Khorramabad played its first ever Azadegan League match against Parseh Tehran. They won the game 3–0. 2013–14 Iran Football's 3rd Division
The article contains information about the 2013–14 Iran 3rd Division football season. This is the 4th rated football league in Iran after the Persian Gulf Cup, Azadegan League, and 2nd Division. The league started from September 2013. In total and in the first round, 60 teams will compete in 5 different groups of 12. From the first round, 10 teams (2 from each group) go through the second round. In the second round 10 teams from 1st round and 14 temas from previous season (8 teams relegated from 2nd division + 1 team relegated from 1st division + 5 top teams from 3rd division) will be divided into 2 groups of 12, where the winner and runner-up of each group will be directly promoted to 2014–15 Iran Football's 2nd Division. The two group runner-up will go through play-off matches, where the play-off winner also will be promoted. Omid Ravankhah
Omid Ravankhah ( fa, امید روانخواه, born April 13, 1986) is a retired Iranian football player and now coach. He played as a midfielder when he was a football player. Club career Ravankhah joined Esteghlal in 2007. He has scored several key goals for Esteghlal, including two goals against classical rivals Persepolis F.C. so he got named as "امید رفت و برگشت" which translates to 'home and away Omid.' In the first game of the 2008/2009 season he received a serious injury putting him out for several months. Ravankhah played for Esteghlal in the AFC Champions League group stage, appearing against Al-Ittihad on 11 March 2009. He officially announced his retirement on 12 May 2013 at the age of 25, because of his serious old injury. The 2020–21 Azadegan League was the 30th season of the Azadegan League and 20th as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season started in 2 November 2020 with 13 teams from the 2019–20 Azadegan League, two new teams relegated from the 2019–20 Persian Gulf Pro League: Pars Jonoubi Jam and Shahin Bushehr and three new teams promoted from the 2019–20 League 2: Chooka Talesh, Esteghlal Mollasani and Shahrdari Astara as champion, runner-up and third placed team respectively. The 2016–17 Azadegan League was the 26th season of the Azadegan League and 16th as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season featured 12 teams from the 2015–16 Azadegan League, three new teams relegated from the 2015–16 Persian Gulf Pro League: Malavan, Rah Ahan and Esteghlal Ahvaz and three new teams promoted from the 2015–16 League 2: Oxin Alborz and Sepidrood Rasht both as champions and Pars Jonoubi Jam.
