Khela Hobe
Khela Hobe ( bn, খেলা হবে) is a popular Bengali language political slogan in Bangladesh and India, especially in West Bengal and Assam. It translates to English as "The game is on". The slogan was first popularized by Bangladeshi politician Shamim Osman. Usage Politics Bangladesh Shamim Osman, an Awami League and Jatiya Sangsad member, first used the slogan "Khela Hobe" in 2013. He gave the slogan on the eve of the 10th National Assembly elections in the context of the movement led by Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. He said at a political meeting in Narayanganj "কারে খেলা শেখান? আমরা তো ছোটবেলার খেলোয়াড়। খেলা হবে!" () He also used the slogan on 27 August, 2022. 2005 Bangladesh Bombings
On 17 August 2005, around 500 bomb explosions occurred at 300 locations in 63 out of the 64 districts of Bangladesh. The bombs exploded within a half-hour period starting from 11:30 am. A terrorist organization, Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) claimed responsibility for the bombings. The group, led by Shaykh Abdur Rahman and Siddiqur Rahman (also known as Bangla Bhai). Another terrorist group, named Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami, was associated with JMB in executing the co-ordinated attack. Following the bombings, both groups were banned by the BNP Government of Bangladesh. Attacks The bomb exploded near Government facilities.
