Khatauli Assembly constituency is one of the 403 constituencies of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, India. It is a part of the Muzaffarnagar district and one of the five assembly constituencies in the Muzaffarnagar Lok Sabha constituency. First election in this assembly constituency was held in 1967 after the "Delimitation Order" (Delimitation Commission - 1967) was passed in 1967. In 2008, after the "Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008" was passed, this constituency was assigned identification number 15. Madan Bhaiya
Madan Bhaiya, born Madan Singh Kasana, is an Indian politician. Bhaiya is a fifth-term member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly (1991–1993, 1993–1996, 2002–2007, 2007–2012, 2022–present) and currently represents the Khatauli Assembly constituency. Madan Bhaiya has an image of Robin Hood in his area and is often referred to as Bahubali or Bhaiya Ji Madan, In the past, Bhaiya has been linked with gang violence and as of 2013 had over half a dozen alleged murder charges. Elections to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly were held in phases, in February and May 1985, to elect members of the 425 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Indian National Congress won a majority of seats as well as the popular vote, and Narayan Datt Tiwari was re-appointed as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Vikram Singh Saini
Vikram Saini (born 5 June 1969) is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and of the 18th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh representing the Khatauli assembly constituency. In 2022, he was convicted and sentenced to 2-years in prison in the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots case. Early life and education Saini was born on 5 June 1969 in Kawal, Uttar Pradesh. He received his 8th Pass from Rajbala Shiksha Niketan. At the time of the 2017 election, he listed his occupation as being in agriculture. Political career Vikram Saini was formerly the gram pradhan of Kawal. He has been a member of the 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. The election to the 17th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly was held from 11 February to 8 March 2017 in 7 phases. This election saw a voter turnout of 61.11% compared to 59.40% in the previous election. 2002 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election
Elections to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly were held in 2002. Following a spell of 56 days of President’s Rule from 3 March to 2 May 2002, Mayawati became Chief Minister on 3 May 2002 for the third time after the BJP extended support to the BSP. BJP state president Kalraj Mishra resigned, and was replaced by Vinay Katiyar, who thought up slogans like "Haathi nahin Ganesh hai, Brahma Vishnu Mahesh hai" to defend the alliance. But the problems kept mounting, and Mayawati resigned in August 2003. On 29 August Mulayam was sworn in as CM with the support of BSP dissidents and ran the government until 2007.
