Khaqan Abbasi
Khaqan Abbasi was a Pakistani politician who served as Federal Minister for Production in Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo's cabinet until 1988. He was the father of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Sadia Abbasi. He was a decorated Air Force Veteran and retired as an Air Commodore in 1978. He then moved to Jordan and served as the advisor of the Royal Jordanian Air Force. With the support of then King of Jordan, he undertook construction projects in Saudi Arabia which turned him into a billionaire. He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan from NA-36 Rawalpindi-I in 1985 Pakistani general election by defeating Raja Zafar ul Haq. He was inducted into the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo due to close relationship with Zia-ul-Haq and was appointed as Minister for production but was later removed from the cabinet after Prime Minister Junejo and Zia-ul-Haq developed differences. Royal Jordanian Air Force
The Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF; ar, سلاح الجو الملكي الأردني, Silāḥ ul-Jawu al-Malakī 'al-Urdunī) is the aerial warfare branch of the Jordanian Armed Forces. History Early days Jordan gained independence in 1946, but its first air bases had been set up in 1931 by the Royal Air Force. By 1948, Jordan began to develop a small air arm which came to be known as the Arab Legion Air Force (ALAF). The Royal Air Force assisted in training this small air arm and provided equipment. Muhammad Khan Junejo
Mohammad Khan Junejo (Urdu: ; Sindhi: ; 18 August 193216 March 1993) was a Pakistani politician and an agriculturist who served as the tenth prime minister of Pakistan, having elected in this capacity in 1985 until being dismissed in 1988. Junejo, a powerful landowner and was introduced in the agricultural industry , was educated in Karachi, having attended the St. Patrick's College, and was trained as an agriculturist at the Agricultural Institute near Hastings in the United Kingdom.
