Khanqah Dogran
Khanqah Dogran is a city in Safdarabad Tehsil, Sheikhupura District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. In 2005, Nankana Sahib District was split off from Sheikhupura District. Khanqah Dogran was one of the towns included in the new district. Residents protested for five days in opposition to the change, during which time some of the protesters burnt down a police station. In December 2008, Khanqah Dogran was added back into Sheikhupura District as part of Safdarabad Tehsil. Every Year in 1st date of Sawan month ( Desi month ) 16th of every July, a festival held on called as Hazrat Saab Sat-ur-deen Diwan Sahib Mela. Safdarabad Tehsil
Safdarabad ( ur, ), is an administrative subdivision ( Tehsil) of Sheikhupura District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The city of Safdar Abad is the headquarters of the tehsil, until 2005 it was a tehsil of Sheikhupura District, but in that year Sheikhpura was bifurcated and the district of Nankana Sahib was created. - with Safdarabad as one of its tehsils. Now at present (since 01-12-2012), once again Safdarabad has been rejoined with Sheikhupura as a Tehsil. The city of Safdarabad lies 95 km from Lahore the provincial capital of Punjab. Sheikhupura District
Sheikhupura District ( pa, ; ur, ), is a district located in Lahore Division of Punjab Province, Pakistan. Sheikhupura is the headquarters of Sheikhupura district. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, the district had a population of 3,321,029 of which 25.45% were urban. In 2005 one of its subdivisions was split off to form the new Nankana Sahib District. Before the Partition of Punjab(1947), there were more than 150 villages of Virk Jatts in the district of Sheikhupura. West Punjab ( pnb, ; ur, ) was a province in the Dominion of Pakistan from 1947 to 1955. It was established from the western-half of British Punjab, following the independence of Pakistan. Nankana Sahib District ( pa, ; ur, ) is a district in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Nankana Sahib is the seat of the district government, and Shahkot is the largest urban center. The district of Nankana Sahib is located about west of Lahore and about east of Faisalabad. Until 2005, it was part of Sheikhupura District.
