Khalil Chahine is a German-Lebanese audio engineer, mixer, and Music Producer, music producer. Originally from Beirut, he has worked with artists and musicians from the Middle East, Europe, and North America. Early life and education Though he studied music and played keyboard as a child, an early interest and aptitude for math and sciences drove Chahine to complete a BA in Physics. While undertaking specialised studies in Psychoacoustics, his curiosity about the physics of sound and its relation to music led him to audio engineering, and he was trained as a recording engineer in France. Nouhad Wadie' Haddad ( ar, نهاد وديع حداد, ; born November 21, 1934), known as Fairuz ( ar, فيروز, ; also spelled Fairouz, Feyrouz or Fayrouz), is a Lebanese singer. Hanine Y Son Cubano is a music group formed in 1999 that merges Cuban music and Arabic music. It was in the early 1990s, when he lived in Havana, that Greece, Greek-Lebanon, Lebanese music novelty-wiz and avant-garde producer, composer and arranger Michel Elefteriades came up with the groundbreaking music concept that led, a few years later in 1999, to the formation of Hanine Y Son Cubano, the now seminal Arabo-Cuban music genre.
