Khaled Mohssen
Khaled Mohssen ( ar, خالد محسن; born 10 January 1998) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Ansar. Born in Germany, Mohssen is of Lebanese descent; he played one game for the Lebanon national team in 2020. Club career Hamburger SV Mohssen represented Hamburger SV at under-15, under-17, and under-19 levels. He made 59 appearances in the Under 19 Bundesliga, scoring six goals and providing four assists. Mohssen also captained the reserve team, Regionalliga side Hamburger SV II, scoring five goals in 52 games. Phönix Lübeck On 30 September 2020, Mohssen moved to newly-promoted Regionalliga side Phönix Lübeck on a free transfer. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the league was suspended in November 2020, with Mohssen only playing one league game; he left the club following the expiration of his contract in summer 2021. Lebanese FA Cup
The Lebanon Cup (), commonly known as the Lebanese FA Cup, is a Lebanese football annual cup competition. The first edition, held in 1937, was won by Nahda. The most successful club in the competition is Ansar with 15 titles, followed by Nejmeh with seven. Ansar have also contested the most finals with 20, followed by Nejmeh with 16. In the first FA Cup final, held on 26 June 1938, Nahda beat Hilmi-Sport 3–2 in the replay (after drawing 1–1 the first match). Format As well as being presented with the trophy, the winning team also qualifies for the AFC Cup. If the winners have already qualified for the AFC Cup via Lebanese Premier League, or are not entitled to play in AFC competitions for any reason, the place goes to the next highest placed finisher in the league table. The Lebanon national football team has used footballers born outside Lebanon throughout its history with varying success. As a result of the dominance of clubs founded by the Armenian diaspora in Lebanon, between the 1940s and 1960s the national team heavily featured Lebanese players of Armenian origin. The established presence of Armenians in the team led the Lebanese Football Association (LFA) to naturalise several Armenian players born in Armenia during the 1990s to play internationally for Lebanon. Most notably, Vardan Ghazaryan was the national team's leading top goalscorer. In preparation for the 2000 AFC Asian Cup, the LFA naturalised five Brazilian-born players of Lebanese descent; their presence was generally not well received, as it was felt that they did not improve the level of the team. 2021–22 Lebanese Premier League
The 2021–22 Lebanese Premier League was the 60th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 1934. The league started on 11 September 2021 and ended on 4 June 2022. It was the second season to feature a "split" format, following its introduction in the 2020–21 season, in which the season was divided into two phases. Ahed won their eighth league title undefeated.
