Khaled Galal
Khaled Galal ( ar, خالد جلال; born 12 April 1967) is a former player in the Zamalek SC and a trainer for some Egyptian League clubs and the interim coach of Zamalek for several spells, in which he won the 2017–18 Egypt Cup. The Egyptian Premier League ( ar, الدوري المصري الممتاز), also known as WE Egyptian Premier League (WE EPL) after the addition of title sponsor WE, is a professional association football league in Egypt and the top level of the Egyptian football league system. The league comprises 18 teams and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Egyptian Second Division. Seasons mostly run from August to May. Unlike most other leagues, all games are played all over the week. 2017–18 Egypt Cup
The 2017–18 Egypt Cup was the 86th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in Africa. It was sponsored by Telecom Egypt, and known as the Telecom Egypt Cup for sponsorship purposes. 286 clubs were accepted into the tournament. It began with the First Qualifying Round on 23 September 2017, and concluded with the final on 15 May 2018. The winner qualifies for the 2018–19 CAF Confederation Cup. Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly were the defending champions, but they were eliminated by Al Assiouty Sport in the quarter-finals on 30 April 2018.
