Khairul Idham Pawi
Khairul Idham Pawi (born 20 September 1998) is a Malaysian motorcycle racer. He is the youngest non- European to win a Grand Prix, accomplishing this feat in the Argentine race of the 2016 Moto3 World Championship, aged just 17. Career Moto3 World Championship He made his Grand Prix debut as wildcard at the 2015 Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix, entered by Honda Team Asia, where he finished the race in 25th place. In 2016, Pawi made his full-time debut in the 2016 Moto3 World Championship, once again riding the Honda of Honda Team Asia, alongside Japanese rider Hiroki Ono. Pawi won the second Grand Prix of the season in a wet Argentina race, becoming the youngest non-European rider to win a race, aged 17. Later in the season at the German Grand Prix, Pawi started from only 20th on the grid, but established himself as a wet-weather specialist, as he charged through to lead after just six laps. Takaaki Nakagami
is a Japanese Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for LCR Honda Idemitsu in MotoGP. He won the Japanese Road Race Championship 125cc class in 2006 and J-GP2 class in 2011. Career Early career Born in Chiba, Nakagami joined the Japanese Road Race Championship in the GP125 category in 2005 joining the Harc-Pro Honda Team finishing 13th as a rookie in the series. He stayed in the Japanese 125cc championship for 2006 with Harc-Pro again, winning every race of the season; becoming the youngest-ever Japanese 125cc champion. Sepang Racing Team
The Sepang Racing Team (formerly known as SIC Racing Team) was a Malaysian Grand Prix motorcycle racing team which operated until the end of 2021, and was owned by the Sepang International Circuit. First established in 2015 in the Moto3 class and expanded in 2019, it fielded teams in MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 championships. 2018 Moto2 Season
The 2018 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 70th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Franco Morbidelli was the reigning series champion, but he did not defend his title as he moved to the MotoGP class. 2018 was the final season that the Honda CBR600RR inline-4 engine package — which debuted in the 2010 Moto2 season — was used in competition; as the brand new engine package (765cc inline-3) supplied by Triumph Motorcycles was introduced for the 2019 season. The Honda NSF250R is a four-stroke race motorcycle from HRC (Honda Racing Corporation) developed in 2011 to replace the outgoing two-stroke Honda RS125R. Honda's NSF250R joined the newly-created Moto3 World Championship in 2012. An updated model, the NSF250RW was introduced in 2014, and won the constructors' title for the first time in 2015. The 2019 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 71st F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Francesco Bagnaia was the reigning series champion but he was unable to defend his title as he joined the series' premier class, the MotoGP. The season saw the introduction of a new engine package. The Honda CBR600RR inline-4 engine package, which was used since the inaugural season of Moto2 in 2010, was replaced by a inline-3 engine manufacturered by Triumph Motorcycles.
