Khaidi Kannaiah
''Khaidi Kannayya'' () is a 1962 Indian Telugu-language crime film directed by B. Vittalacharya and produced by Pothina Doondeswara Rao. It is a remake of the Hindi film ''Qaidi No. 911'' (1959) and its Tamil version '' Kaithi Kannayiram'' (1960). The film stars Kanta Rao, Rajanala, Gummadi, Relangi, Rajasulochana and Girija. Plot Kannayya is robbed of the bank cash he was carrying by Paparao, a gangster who also kidnaps his motherless son Ravi with the help of his partner Ramu. Kannayya is framed for the theft and arrested. In prison he learns that his son has died, and blames his sister-in-law Madhavi and her brother Ramu for the death. Kannayya finds solace in the company of Raju, the son of the jailor. Padma is Raju's tutor. A dangerous criminal Durgarayudu kidnaps Raju and absconds from prison. ''Khaidi Babai'' () is a 1974 Indian Telugu-language film directed by T. Krishna. A remake of the 1971 Hindi film '' Dushmun'', it stars Sobhan Babu, Vanisri and Sowcar Janaki. ''Khaidi'' () is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Chiranjeevi and Madhavi. The film is loosely based on the 1982 American film ''First Blood''. Released on 28 October 1983, the film was a massive commercial success and Chiranjeevi rose to stardom. ''Khaidi Rudrayya'' () is a 1986 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy who also wrote the screenplay for a story by Paruchuri Brothers; produced by T. Trivikrama Rao for Vijaya Lakshmi Art Pictures. The film stars Krishna in the titular role alongside Sridevi and Sarada with Rao Gopala Rao enacting the main antagonist. The film was recorded as a ''Blockbuster'' at the box office. The film has musical score by K. Chakravarthy.
