Khadijah Shah
Khadijah Shah is a Pakistani American fashion designer, facing several alleged charges of rioting and vandalism. In May 2023, Shah was detained, after a series of unsuccessful attempts by the police to arrest her, over her alleged role in the 9th May riots. Part of those protests in the after math of illegal arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan took a violent turn when PTI supporters exercised their democratic right of protest, however, some rioters broke into Army installations including setting fire to a General's official residence. She was allegedly arrested for her role in leading Jinnah house attack. In December 2023, she was released on bail after being denied the release despite being granted bail several times & thus clear violation of basic human rights; thought still many PTI protestors languish in jail. General Asif Nawaz Janjua NI(M), HI(M), SBt, psc, (Urdu: ; 3 January 1937 – 8 January 1993) was a senior officer of the Pakistan Army who served as the fourth Chief of Army Staff from 16 August 1991 until his death by Arsenic poisoning. His family commissioned a private test on hair from his brush, which was conducted in the United States. The test registered high levels of arsenic. As a result, his body was exhumed, and an autopsy was conducted by French, British, and American doctors. The cause of death was determined to be a heart attack, which can also be caused by exposure to low or mild levels of arsenic. On 9 May 2023, the Corps Commander House Lahore was attacked by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protestors in response to the arrest of Imran Khan on the same day.
