Khaani
''Khaani'' (''Feminine version of Khan'') is a 2017 Pakistani drama television series premiered on 6 November 2017 on Geo Entertainment. It is directed by Anjum Shahzad, produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under 7th Sky Entertainment and written by Asma Nabeel. It stars Feroze Khan as Mir Hadi and Sana Javed as Sanam Ali Khan. The show was inspired by the real incident of the murder of Shahzeb Khan, which took place in 2012 in Karachi. Plot The story opens with Sanam Khan (Sana Javed), nicknamed Khaani. She is timid and cowardly unlike a Khan, and her family, who are busy preparing for Khaani and her twin brother Sarim's upcoming birthday. Meanwhile, Sarim is about to graduate when he angers a rich, spoilt son of a politician named Mir Hadi (Feroze Khan). A fight ensues, and Sarim is shot by Hadi 4 times and killed instantly. Sana Javed (born 25 March 1993) is a Pakistani actress who appears in Urdu television. She made her acting debut with a minor role in the acclaimed television series ''Shehr-e-Zaat'' (2012). ''Geo Entertainment HD'' or Geo Drama is a Pakistani entertainment television channel owned by Geo Television Network was established in May 2002. Its test transmission started on 14 August 2002 on the PAS 10 digital satellite whereas on 1 October 2002 the regular transmission of Geo Entertainment was started. History GEO has been one of the oldest Pakistani networks, and regularly has received good TRPs on various daily soaps, reality series, and drama serials since inception.
