Kgotso Morapela
Kgotso Zachariah Morapela is a South African politician for the Economic Freedom Fighters. He was the party's provincial chairman in the Free State until 2018 and represented the party in the National Assembly and the Free State Provincial Legislature. Political career Morapela served as the provincial chairperson of the African National Congress Youth League in the Free State. In February 2014, he resigned from the African National Congress to join expelled former youth league president Julius Malema's new political party, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). He then stood as a candidate for the party in the national and provincial elections in May of that same year, and was elected to a seat in the National Assembly. The Free State Provincial Legislature is the primary legislative body of the South African province of Free State. It is unicameral in its composition, and elects the premier and the executive council from among the members of the leading party or coalition in the parliament. Elias Sekgobelo "Ace" Magashule (born 3 November 1959) is a South African politician and former anti-apartheid activist who was Secretary General of the African National Congress (ANC) until his suspension on 3 May 2021. He served as the Premier of the Free State, one of South Africa's nine provinces, from 2009 until 2018, and is known to be influential in the ANC of his home province. An outspoken ally of former President Jacob Zuma, Magashule has been accused of various corrupt activities. Smithfield, South Africa
Smithfield is a small town in the Free State province of South Africa. Founded in 1848 in the Orange River Sovereignty (as the region was then named), the town is situated in a rural farming district and is the third oldest town in present-day Free State, after Philippolis and Winburg.
