Keynan Middleton
Keynan Anthony Middleton (born September 12, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the third round of the 2013 MLB draft. Middleton made his MLB debut with the Angels in 2017, and has also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners. High school and college Middleton attended Milwaukie High School in Milwaukie, Oregon. He then played college baseball at Lane Community College. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the third round (95th overall) of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. The Los Angeles Angels are an American professional baseball team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Arizona Complex League Angels are a professional baseball team competing as a Rookie-level affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels in the Arizona Complex League of Minor League Baseball. The team plays its home games at Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. The Reno Aces are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. They are located in Reno, Nevada, and play their home games at Greater Nevada Field, which opened in 2009. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Tacoma, Washington, and play their home games at Cheney Stadium, which opened in 1960. Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, colloquially known as Tommy John surgery (TJS), is a surgical graft procedure where the ulnar collateral ligament in the medial elbow is replaced with either a tendon from elsewhere in the patient's body, or with one from a deceased donor. Fastball
The fastball is the most common type of pitch thrown by pitchers in baseball and softball. "Power pitchers," such as former American major leaguers Nolan Ryan and Roger Clemens, rely on speed to prevent the ball from being hit, and have thrown fastballs at speeds of (officially) and up to (unofficially). Pitchers who throw more slowly can put movement on the ball, or throw it on the outside of home plate where batters can't easily reach it. Fastballs are usually thrown with backspin, so that the Magnus effect creates an upward force on the ball. Joey Rickard
Joseph Mark Rickard (born May 21, 1991) is an American professional baseball outfielder who is currently a free agent. Prior to his professional career, he played college baseball for the Arizona Wildcats of the University of Arizona, and was a member of the 2012 College World Series champions. The Tampa Bay Rays selected Rickard in the ninth round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut in 2016 with the Baltimore Orioles. Caleb Martin Joseph (born June 18, 1986) is an American former professional baseball catcher. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Travelers are affiliated with the Seattle Mariners as members of the Texas League.
