Keyler Lázaro García Estrada (born 14 January 1990) is a Cuban international footballer. Club career Nicknamed ''el Chino'', Garcia played for hometown team Camagüey before leaving Cuba. International career He made his international debut for Cuba in an international friendly against Costa Rica in December 2011 and has earned a total of 5 caps, scoring no goals. García was called up to the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup but defected to the United States in Chicago, one day prior to the Cuba's opening game against Mexico on 9 July 2015 at Soldier Field. Arael Argüelles, Darío Suárez and Ariel Martinez also fled their country at the same tournament. Camagüey
Camagüey () is a city and municipality in central Cuba and is the nation's third-largest city with more than 321,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of the Camagüey Province. It was founded as Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe in 1514, by Spanish colonists on the northern coast and moved inland in 1528, to the site of a Taino village named Camagüey. It was one of the seven original settlements (''villas'') founded in Cuba by the Spanish. After Henry Morgan burned the city in the 17th century, it was redesigned like a maze so attackers would find it hard to move around inside the city. The symbol of the city of Camagüey is the clayen pot or ''tinajón'', used to capture rain water and keep it fresh. Ariel Pedro Martinez González (born 9 May 1986) is a Cuban Football player, footballer. Club career Following his List of Cuban football players who have defected to the United States, defection from Cuba to the United States in July 2015, Martínez signed with United Soccer League club Charleston Battery, but was not cleared to play until late in the season due to issues with the processing of his documentation and work permit. Martínez made his only appearance for Charleston in a playoff loss to Louisville City before leaving the club at the end of 2015.
