Keybeats
Keybeats, composed of drummer Eric Seats and producer Rapture Stewart, were an American songwriting, production, and instrumentalist duo formed in 1997, moving from California to New York to work with Timbaland's production outfit (in collaboration with Blackground Records) in the late 1990s. The duo is best known for co-writing and producing group 702's hit single " Where My Girls At?", as well as Aaliyah's " Rock the Boat", resulting in eight written and produced tracks on her eponymous 2001 album. Keybeats has also worked with Destiny's Child, Tank, and 702, and placed records onto several movie soundtracks. Their contributions to "Rock The Boat" were utilized on Kanye West's " Fade" and The Weeknd's "What You Need" from his early '' House of Balloons'' project. It was reported on a now-defunct Prince website that he was also inspired by their Aaliyah productions (namely "Rock The Boat") to record minor R&B hit "1000's of X's & O's" off of 2015 album ''Hit n Run Phase One' ...

Rhythm And Blues
Rhythm and blues, frequently abbreviated as R&B or R'n'B, is a genre of popular music that originated in African-American communities in the 1940s. The term was originally used by record companies to describe recordings marketed predominantly to urban African Americans, at a time when "urbane, rocking, jazz based music ... ith aheavy, insistent beat" was becoming more popular. In the commercial rhythm and blues music typical of the 1950s through the 1970s, the bands usually consisted of piano, one or two guitars, bass, drums, one or more saxophones, and sometimes background vocalists. R&B lyrical themes often encapsulate the African-American experience of pain and the quest for freedom and joy, as well as triumphs and failures in terms of relationships, economics, and aspirations. The term "rhythm and blues" has undergone a number of shifts in meaning. In the early 1950s, it was frequently applied to blues records. Starting in the mid-1950s, after this style of music contr ...

702 (album)
''702'' is the self-titled second studio album by American R&B group of the same name. It was released on June 15, 1999, by Motown. The album peaked at number thirty-four on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. By November 2002, it was certified platinum in sales by the RIAA, after sales exceeding 1,000,000 copies in the United States. Critical reception Stephen Thomas Erlewine at AllMusic was critical of the album's running time and felt it was padded with some filler songs; however, he did call the work "a true step forward for 702." Paul Verna from '' Billboard'' praised the albums material and thought the group did a good job delivering an album "full of satisfying, hip-shaking tracks, not just a few radio-friendly singles". Beth Johnson from ''Entertainment Weekly'' was mixed in her review although she thought the album was "cannily polished" due to its writers and producers, she declared it's "hard to distinguish" 702 "from the swelling tsunami of R&B girl groups". AllMusic
AllMusic (previously known as All Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Initiated in 1991, the database was first made available on the Internet in 1994. AllMusic is owned by RhythmOne. History AllMusic was launched as ''All Music Guide'' by Michael Erlewine, a "compulsive archivist, noted astrologer, Buddhist scholar and musician". He became interested in using computers for his astrological work in the mid-1970s and founded a software company, Matrix, in 1977. In the early 1990s, as CDs replaced LPs as the dominant format for recorded music, Erlewine purchased what he thought was a CD of early recordings by Little Richard. After buying it he discovered it was a "flaccid latter-day rehash". Frustrated with the labeling, he researched using metadata to create a music guide. In 1990, in Big Rapids, Michigan, he founded ''All Music Guide' ...
