Kevin Tumba
Kevin Tumba (born February 23, 1991) is a Belgian-DR Congolese professional basketball player for Liège Basket of the BNXT League. He usually plays at the center position. Professional career Tumba made his professional debut in the 2011–12 season with Belfius Mons-Hainaut. He signed a new 2-year contract in May 2014. In June 2015, Tumba signed a 2-year contract with Belgian EuroCup team Proximus Spirou Charleroi. On January 20, 2017, Tumba transferred to Spanish Liga ACB side UCAM Murcia, where he signed a contract until the end of the season. On August 15, 2020, Tumba moved to Greece and signed with Kolossos Rodou. On January 15, 2021, Tumba was released from the Greek club after suffering a serious injury. He averaged 4.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game. On December 14, 2021, Tumba signed with Fos Provence Basket of the LNB Pro A. Center (basketball)
The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. They traditionally play close to the basket in the low post. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense. In the 1950s and 1960s, George Mikan and Bill Russell were centerpieces of championship dynasties and defined early prototypical centers. Liga ACB
The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The Greece men's national basketball team ( el, Eθνική Oμάδα Καλαθοσφαίρισης Ελλάδος) represents Greece in international basketball. They are controlled by the Hellenic Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Greece. Greece is currently ranked ninth in the FIBA World Rankings.
