Kevin Moreton
Kevin Moreton (born 19 January 1959) is an English actor, best known for his portrayal of Kevin Marsh in ''Coronation Street'', the British prime-time soap opera set in the fictional town of Weatherfield, made by Granada Television (now ITV Studios). He was a popular British child actor during the 1970s and appeared in many roles. Early life Moreton was born in 1959 in Hemsworth, a small mining town in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. He was brought up and lived in a small village named Carleton, in Pontefract and attended his local school, at the time known as Pontefract Boys' School, now named Carleton Community High School. He was put forward and selected for his first TV role by his school drama teacher, Trevor Lunn, who had past contacts in the industry. Joseph Gladwin (22 January 1906 – 11 March 1987) was an English actor, best known for his roles as Fred Jackson in Coronation Street, Stan Hardman in Nearest and Dearest, and Wally Batty in the world's longest-running sitcom, ''Last of the Summer Wine'' (1975–87). Biography Gladwin was born at 44 Tatton Street in the Ordsall district of Salford, Lancashire, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (née Dooley) Gladwin. His father was a coal dealer. He worked as a teacher and professional wrestler before commencing an acting career which included films, many roles on British television and work on the stage. The Tetley Tea Folk are animated characters used to advertise Tetley Tea from 1973 to 2001, and from 2010 to 2016. Tea Folk history The Canadian copywriter John McGill Lewis (1929–2009) of the advertising agency McCann Erickson originated the Tetley Tea Folk in 1973, working with art director Peter Rigby, who created the original characters of the Tea Folk, before briefing Wyatt Cattaneo to animate them. The animated commercials were produced at Wyatt Cattaneo studios, where the Gaffer, Sidney, and supporting characters were animated by studio director Tony Cattaneo and animator Ramon Modiano. The Ghosts Of Motley Hall
''The Ghosts of Motley Hall'' is a British children's television series written by Richard Carpenter. It was produced and directed by Quentin Lawrence for Granada Television, and broadcast between 1976 and 1978 on the ITV network. The series relates the adventures of five ghosts who haunt the crumbling, abandoned Motley Hall. Each ghost is from a different era, and all except one (Matt) are unable to leave the confines of the building—and even Matt is unable to travel outside the grounds of the Hall. The only regular character who is not a ghost is Mr. Gudgin, a real estate agent and the ''de facto'' caretaker of Motley Hall.
