Kevin Alexander McKenzie (born 16 July 1948) is a South African first-class cricketer whose career with Gauteng cricket team, Transvaal lasted from his first season in 1966/67 to the final one in 1986/87. Biography A native of Pretoria, Kevin McKenzie was educated at Johannesburg's King Edward VII School (Johannesburg), King Edward VII School and played for Transvaal in the Nuffield week, 1966 and 1967, also playing, in 1967, for the South African schools team. He played in 133 first-class matches, scoring 6756 runs at an average of 36.51. Batting right-handed in the lower middle order, he scored 13 centuries and 34 half centuries. Kevin McKenzie (born April 29, 1954, in Burlington, Vermont) is an American ballet dancer, choreographer, and director. A former principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, he then served as the company's artistic director from 1992 to 2022. Education The youngest of 11 children, McKenzie began dance lessons at the urging of his father, who was eager to see his son become the next Fred Astaire. Shortly after his first session at the O'Brien School of Dance, he found himself drawn more to ballet than tap dancing. Once the school informed Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie of their son and daughter's great talent, the two continued their studies at the Washington School of Ballet, under the directorship of Mary Day. Day created an environment that enabled dancers to explore their own talents and opinions. Kelvin Calder MacKenzie (born 22 October 1946) is an English media executive and a former newspaper editor. He became editor of '' The Sun'' in 1981, by which time the publication was established as Britain's largest circulation newspaper. After leaving ''The Sun'' in 1994, he was appointed to executive roles in satellite television and other broadcasting outlets, as well as being involved in a number of publishing enterprises. After short periods as a columnist at the ''Daily Mail'' and ''The Daily Telegraph'', MacKenzie returned to ''The Sun'' in the same role.
