Kevin Lindsay
Kevin Lindsay (17 April 1924 – 26 April 1975) was an Australian actor, born in Bendigo, Victoria. He came to Britain in 1959 and is best known for his appearances in the '' Doctor Who'' series. He appeared as Cho-Je in ''Planet of the Spiders'', as well as playing Linx, the first Sontaran to be seen in the series, in ''The Time Warrior''. Later, Lindsay played two more members of that species, in ''The Sontaran Experiment ''The Sontaran Experiment'' is the third serial of the 12th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was originally broadcast on BBC1 on 22 February and 1 March 1975. Bendigo ( ) is a city in Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia, located in the Bendigo Valley near the geographical centre of the state and approximately north-west of Melbourne, the state capital. ''Crossroads'' (later known as ''Crossroads Motel'' and ''Crossroads King's Oak'') is a British television soap opera that ran on ITV over two periods – the original 1964 to 1988 run, followed by a short revival from 2001 to 2003. Set in a fictional motel (hotel in the revival) in the Midlands, ''Crossroads'' became a byword for cheap production values, particularly in the 1970s and early 1980s. ''Play for Today'' is a British television anthology drama series, produced by the BBC and transmitted on BBC1 from 1970 to 1984. During the run, more than three hundred programmes, featuring original television plays, and adaptations of stage plays and novels, were transmitted. The individual episodes were (with a few exceptions noted below) between fifty and a hundred minutes in duration. Alexander Lvovich Naryshkin (russian: Александр Лвович Нарышкин) (14 April 1760 - 21 January 1826) was a Russian noble of the Naryshkin family. He was the director of the Imperial Theatres from 1799 to 1819 and Marshal of Nobility of Saint-Petersburg from 1818 to 1826. He and his brother were famous for their lavish parties in Saint-Petersburg. Life Aleksandr Naryshkin was born on the 14th of April, 1760 into the Naryshkin family. After being tutored at home, he embarked on a Grand Tour, as was often done by upper-class young European men as a rite of passage. Upon his return, he entered the Izmailovsky Life Guards regiment, where he rose to the rank of lieutenant captain. ''The Odd Man'' was a police series produced by Granada Television, running over four series between 1960 and 1963. The character of pompous police Chief Inspector Charles Rose (William Mervyn) at the start of series 3 cemented the show's popularity, and ''The Odd Man'' turned out to be the first in a trilogy lasting most of the 1960s, during which Rose's character slowly developed and became increasingly genial as they progressed.
