Kevin Jackson (soccer)
Kevin Jackson (born July 5, 1978 in Pittsgrove Township, New Jersey) is an American soccer player. Career College and Amateur Jackson graduated from Arthur P. Schalick High School, and played college soccer at Lehigh University from 1996 to 1999. He holds the single game, season and career assists records at the school. During his college years Jackson also played for the Central Jersey Riptide of the USL Premier Development League. Professional Jackson was selected in the 6th round (68th overall) of the 2000 MLS SuperDraft by Chicago Fire, and was drafted by the Hershey Wildcats of the USL A-League in the Territorial Round of the 2000 USL Draft. After Chicago waived his contract rights, Jackson signed with the Wildcats and spent the 2000 and 2001 season with the team. In 2002, he played for the South Jersey Barons, and in 2003 he moved to the Charleston Battery, playing for the team through the 2005 season. Pittsgrove Township, New Jersey
Pittsgrove Township is a township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 9,393, reflecting an increase of 500 (+5.6%) from the 8,893 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 772 (+9.5%) from the 8,121 counted in the 1990 Census. Pittsgrove Township was formed by Royal charter on December 6, 1769 and was incorporated by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798, as one of the initial group of 104 townships established in New Jersey. The Charlotte Eagles are an American professional soccer team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Founded in 1991, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team plays its home games at the Sportsplex at Matthews.
