Kevin Healey
Kevin Healey is an American soccer coach who took the Baltimore Bays (1993–98), Baltimore Bays to three USISL indoor championships. Healey grew up in Dundalk, Maryland and graduated from Calvert Hall College High School. He attended Loyola University Maryland, playing on the school’s 1976 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship team. After graduation, Healey entered the banking industry, eventually becoming the vice president of Provident Bank of Maryland. He also coached youth soccer with Dundalk Post 38. In 1986, Healey took the Dundalk Post 38 U-19 team to the regional championship. In 1990, he founded the Soccer Club of Baltimore. In March 1991, he coached the Baltimore Hummers to a national open indoor championship. In January 1993, the newly established Baltimore Bays (1993–98), Baltimore Bays of the USISL hired Healey for its upcoming outdoor season. Loyola Greyhounds Men's Soccer
The Loyola Greyhounds men's soccer team represents Loyola University Maryland in NCAA Division I association football, soccer. It became a member of the Patriot League on July 1, 2013. Previously it competed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) from 1989 to 2013. To avoid ambiguity, the team is often referenced as Loyola Maryland or Loyola (MD), as there are two other institutions named Loyola that compete at the Division I level (Loyola-Chicago of Illinois and Loyola-Marymount of California). The team is one of the most successful athletic programs at Loyola, winning numerous MAAC Championships (both regular season and MAAC men's soccer tournament, MAAC Tournament), consistently making NCAA Tournament appearances, and often holding national rankings in both the NSCAA/Adidas Poll as well as that of CollegeSoccerNews. Pat Healey
Pat Healey (born December 20, 1985) is an American soccer coach and former soccer player who is currently the head coach and general manager of the Harrisburg Heat in the Major Arena Soccer League. College Healey, who was born in Baltimore, Maryland and is the son of Kevin Healey (the President and General Manager of the Baltimore Blast), grew up in Bel Air, Maryland, attended Calvert Hall College High School, and played college soccer at Towson University. At Towson he was named the 2007 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year, was a three-time All-CAA selection, and a two-time NSCAA/ADIDAS All-South Atlantic Region player. Professional Outdoor Healey was drafted in the first round of the 2008 MLS Supplemental Draft by the Kansas City Wizards, but was released on February 19, 2008 after the team's initial pre-season training camp. Baltimore Bays (1993–98)
The Baltimore Bays were a professional soccer team based in Baltimore, Maryland founded in 1967 as one of the ten charter members of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). When the NPSL and the rival United Soccer Association (USA) merged in 1968 to form the North American Soccer League (NASL), the team moved to the new league. The Bays played its home matches at Memorial Stadium during its first two seasons and moved to Kirk Field, a high school football stadium, in 1969. The team folded at the conclusion of the 1969 NASL season.
