Kevin Hatcher
Kevin John Hatcher (born September 9, 1966) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman who played in the NHL for 17 seasons between 1984 and 2001 for the Washington Capitals, Dallas Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes. He is the older brother of former NHL player Derian Hatcher, with whom he was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame on October 21, 2010. Hatcher was born in Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Playing career As a youth, Hatcher played in the 1979 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Michigan. Hatcher was drafted 17th overall in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals, a team he would have the most of his NHL success with. Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament
The Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament (french: Tournoi international de hockey pee-wee de Québec) is an annual minor ice hockey event in Quebec City. The tournament was founded in 1960 to coincide with the Quebec Winter Carnival, and give an opportunity for international competition to players less than 12 years old. The tournament raises funds for the local Patro Roc-Amadour foundation, and is mostly run by volunteers and a few staff. The event takes place each year in February at Videotron Centre, and previously spent 56 seasons at Quebec Coliseum. As of 2018, the event has showcased the talent of over 1,200 future professionals in the National Hockey League or the World Hockey Association. Peter Popovic
Peter "Poppe" Popovic ( sr, Popović; born 10 February 1968) is a Swedish former ice hockey defenceman of Serbian ancestry, and currently an assistant coach of the Sweden men's national team. Popovic was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 5th round (93rd overall) of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Popovic began his National Hockey League career with Montreal in 1994, where he played for five seasons. He also played for the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Boston Bruins. He left the NHL after the 2001 season, having played 485 games, then played for five seasons in Södertälje SK. Sergei Alexandrovich Zubov (Russian: Сергей Александрович Зубов; born 22 July 1970) is a Russian professional ice hockey coach and former defenceman. He is the former head coach for the Dinamo Riga of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Zubov played for the Dallas Stars, New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League as well as SKA Saint Petersburg of the KHL. One of the best offensive defensemen in NHL history, he won the Stanley Cup twice: with the Rangers in 1994 and the Stars in 1999. Richard Donald Mrozik (born January 2, 1975) is an American former professional ice hockey player who played two games in the National Hockey League for the Calgary Flames in 2002–03. Mrozik was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the 6th round, 136th overall, in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. He retired following the 2004–05 season after spending eight years in the minor leagues. Mark Tinordi
Mark Douglas Tinordi (born May 9, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 12 seasons between 1987–88 and 1998–99. Tinordi became the coach of the Washington Junior Nationals in the 2006–07 season; he is also the director of the Washington Junior Nationals College Development Program. His son, Jarred Tinordi, is also a professional ice hockey player. Playing career Mark Tinordi was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Rangers on January 4, 1987. He was traded in early 1988 to the Minnesota North Stars in a multi-player deal.
