Kevin Harris (American Football)
Kevin Harris (born November 17, 2000) is an American football running back for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina. Early life and high school Harris grew up in Hinesville, Georgia and attended Bradwell Institute. He was named the Georgia Region 2-6A Player of the Year after rushing for 1,680 yards and 16 touchdowns in his junior year. As a senior, Harris rushed for 1,556 yards and 22 touchdowns and was named the Region 2-6A Player of the Year for the second straight season. Harris committed to play college football at South Carolina over offers from Army, Air Force, Navy, Cornell, Furman, The Citadel, Middle Tennessee State, Tulane and Wofford. Kevin M. Harris (born October 24, 1981) is an American politician who is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 27A in Charles and Prince George's County, Maryland. He was previously a candidate for District 9 of the Prince George's County Council in 2018. Background Harris graduated from St. Benedict's Preparatory School in 1999, and served in the United States Navy until 2009. He later graduated from Washington Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in general studies in 2011, and Walden University with a Master of Science degree in leadership development in 2014. Kevin Harris (Ruby Ridge)
Ruby Ridge was the site of an eleven-day siege in 1992 in Boundary County, Idaho, near Naples. It began on August 21, when deputies of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) initiated action to apprehend and arrest Randy Weaver under a bench warrant after his failure to appear on firearms charges. Weaver refused to surrender, and members of his immediate family, and family friend Kevin Harris, resisted as well. The Hostage Rescue Team of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI HRT) became involved as the siege developed. During the USMS reconnaissance of the Weaver property, six U.S. Marshals encountered Harris and Sammy, Weaver's 14-year-old son, in woods near the family cabin. A shootout took place. Deputy U.S. Marshal William Francis Degan, Sammy Weaver, and the Weavers' dog, Striker, all died as a result. Kevon Harris (born 1 June 1981) is a Jamaican footballer who played one season in the USL First Division and earned one cap with the Jamaica national football team. Career Harris began his career with Santos F.C. (Jamaica) in 2000 before moving to the United States to play college soccer at Old Dominion University for three years. He was a 2004 Second Team All American at Old Dominion. On 18 January 2005, the Virginia Beach Mariners selected Harris with the fourth pic of the USL First Division College Draft.
