Kevin Guppy (born January 29, 1987 in Chino Hills, California) is a former American professional soccer player. Career Youth and amateur Guppy was a two-sport athlete at Chino Hills High School, where he played four years of soccer under head coach Kyle Shuler, earning All-Sierra League accolades his last two years and being named team MVP in his freshman and sophomore campaigns. His second sport was football. He went on to play four years of college soccer at California State University, Northridge as a goalkeeper, where he received All-Big West Honors four straight years, after being named to the First Team in 2005 in 2008, the Honorable Mention list in 2006, and the Second Team in 2007. In addition, he earned third-team College Soccer News All-Freshman, first-team All-Big West Conference and Goalkeeper of the Year honors in his first season at Northridge. Chino Hills (''Chino'', Spanish for "Curly") is a city located in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County, California, United States. The city borders Los Angeles County on its northwest side, Orange County to its south and southwest, and Riverside County to its southeast. Daniel Hoffard Kennedy (born July 22, 1982) is a retired American soccer player who played as goalkeeper. Early life and education Kennedy was born July 22, 1982, in Fullerton, California. He attended El Dorado High School in Placentia, California and played 3 years for the school's varsity soccer team. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and was a student-athlete on the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos men's soccer team. As a member of the 2004 UCSB team, he participated in the championship match of the 2004 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship, but lost on penalty kicks. In his four-year career as a starter for UCSB, he appeared in 84 games. Amateur During his college years, Kennedy also played with Orange County Blue Star in the USL Premier Development League. Fullerton ( ) is a city located in northern Orange County, California, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 143,617. Fullerton was founded in 1887. Adin Brown (born May 27, 1978) is an American soccer coach and former player. He is currently the goalkeeping coach for Chicago Fire FC in Major League Soccer. Youth and High School Born in Pleasant Hill, California, Brown attended De La Salle High School in Concord, California. He started for the 1996 soccer team which is now in the Hall of Fame at De La Salle. The 2006 Major League Soccer Goalkeeper of the Year award winner earned seven caps with the United States national team.
