Kevin Ginkel
Kevin Andrew Ginkel (born March 24, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2019. Career Amateur career Ginkel attended El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California and played college baseball at Southwestern College and the University of Arizona. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 16th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft and the Boston Red Sox in the 26th round of the 2015 MLB draft, but did not sign either time and returned to school. In 2015, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks after being drafted by them in the 22nd round of the 2016 MLB draft. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. The Jackson Generals were a professional baseball team located in Jackson, Tennessee. Cotuit Kettleers
The Cotuit Kettleers are a collegiate summer baseball team based in the village of Cotuit, Massachusetts, which is in the southwest corner of the town of Barnstable. The team is a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) and plays in the league's West Division. The Kettleers play their home games at Lowell Park in Cotuit. The team has been owned and operated by the non-profit Cotuit Athletic Association since 1947.
