Kevin Friesenbichler
Kevin Friesenbichler (born 6 May 1994) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Polish club Lechia Gdańsk. Club career Born in Weiz, Friesenbichler joined local team SC Weiz at the age of five before joining Austrian giants FK Austria Wien in 2008. After a year he moved on to Admira Mödling and in 2010, he joined German heavyweight Bayern Munich. For the then 16-year-old Bayern even paid a transfer fee believed to be €500,000. He enjoyed a debut hat-trick for their U17 side and spent subsequently three years playing for their U19 squad, scoring 27 goals in 37 appearances. His impressive form lead him to be promoted to FC Bayern Munich II for the 2012–13 Regionalliga season. However, it was the 2013–14 season that he arrived at the scene, scoring 15 goals in 22 appearances as Bayern Munich II topped their table. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. The 2015–16 FK Austria Wien season was the 104th season in the club's history. Background Background information Austria Wien received their licence on 30 April without any restrictions. Austria finished seventh in the 2014–15 Bundesliga and were the runner–up in the 2014–15 Austrian Cup. Gerald Baumgartner was sacked by Austria Wien during the 2014–15 season. Mirko Slomka rejected an offer from Austria Wien. Felix Magath eventually became the "preferred" choice. Magath opted not to sign with the club and Thorsten Fink became top candidate for the position. Fink was eventually hired on 28 May. He was given a two–year contract plus an option. Andreas Ogris became the assistant coach. It was later decided that Ogris would return to the reserve team. Austria had their first training under Thorsten Fink on 22 June. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Contested by 18 clubs, operating a system of promotion and relegation with the I liga, seasons start in July, and end in May or June the following year. Teams play a total of 34 games each. 2014–15 Ekstraklasa
The 2014–15 Ekstraklasa (currently named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons), is the 81st season of the highest level of football leagues in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927. It began on 18 July 2014. A total of 16 teams are participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2013–14 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I Liga. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. Legia Warsaw were the defending champions, having won their 10th title last season, but Lech Poznań won their 7th title. Teams Promotion and relegation as usual was determined by the position in the table from prior season.
