Kevin Dyas
Kevin Dyas (born 26 October 1987) is a Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Armagh county team and for Australian Football League team Collingwood. Gaelic football At underage level, Dyas captaining the Armagh minor team to an Ulster Title in 2005. He was also instrumental in guiding his school, Abbey CBS to a MacRory Cup and first ever Hogan Cup title in 2006. Dyas was a senior football panelist with Armagh in 2007 under Joe Kernan, making his debut against Derry, and also played half back with Armagh club Dromintee. Australian rules football Dyas was scouted and recruited by Collingwood and became the second Irish player to be drafted by Collingwood after fellow Irishman Martin Clarke, but unlike Clarke, the club took a gamble with a more mature player in Dyas. Dromintee St Patrick's Gaelic Athletic Club ( ga, CLG Naomh Pádraig, Dromainn Tí) is a Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA club in Armagh GAA, Armagh. It represents the Dromintee and Jonesborough, County Armagh, Jonesborough parish on the southern border of County Armagh. Dromintee plays Gaelic football and is currently in the Armagh Senior Football Championship. History Dromintee Gaelic Football Club was established in 1886 or 1887, becoming the first Armagh club to affiliate to the GAA. The Dundalk Democrat reported a match played on 27 February 1887 between Dromintee and Kilcurry (County Louth). The Dromintee team, which may have been known as Gap of the North, seems to have disappeared within a year. The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). Dromintee or Drumintee (, or ''Droim an Tí'' in modern Irish) is a small village and townland in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 364 people. National Football League (Ireland)
The National Football League (NFL; ga, Sraith Náisiúnta Peile) is an annual Gaelic football competition between the senior county teams of Ireland plus London. Sponsored by Allianz, it is officially known as the Allianz National Football League. The Gaelic Athletic Association organises the league. The winning team receives the New Ireland Cup, presented by the New Ireland Assurance Company. Ulster Minor Football Championship
The Ulster Minor Football Championship is the Minor "knockout" competition in the game of Gaelic football played in the province of Ulster in Ireland. The series of games are organised by the Ulster Council. The trophy for the winning side is The Liam Murray Cup. The competition began in 1930, with Armagh winning during the inaugural year. The most successful county to date is Tyrone who have won on 25 occasions. The winner and the beaten finalist represent Ulster in the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship. Ulster Under-21 Football Championship
The Ulster GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Ulster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Ulster. The championship was contested as the Ulster Under-21 Championship between 1963 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. The final, currently held in March, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the J. J. Fahy Cup. The Armagh County Board ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae Ard Mhacha) or Armagh GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Armagh, Northern Ireland.
