Kevin Doyle is an English actor. He is best known for playing valet/footman Joseph Molesley in the TV series '' Downton Abbey'', as well as Detective Sergeant (DS) John Wadsworth in '' Happy Valley,'' and John Parr in the TV series '' The Lakes''. He has also appeared in ''Coronation Street'' and ''The Crimson Field''. He is the winner of two Screen Actors Guild awards and a Royal Television Society award for best actor for ''Happy Valley.'' He appeared in the '' Poirot'' episode “After the Funeral” in 2005 as Inspector Morton. Scunthorpe () is an industrial town and unparished area in the unitary authority of North Lincolnshire in Lincolnshire, England of which it is the main administrative centre. ''Shine on, Harvey Moon'' is a British television series made by Witzend Productions and Central Television for ITV from 8 January 1982 to 23 August 1985 and briefly revived in 1995 by Meridian Broadcasting. This generally light-hearted series was created by comedy writers Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran. The series is set in the East End of London shortly after the Second World War. On being demobbed RAF serviceman Harvey Moon, played by Kenneth Cranham, returns home and finds his family involved in various troubles. ''North Square'' is a British television drama series written and created by Peter Moffat, and broadcast by Channel 4 from 18 October to 20 December 2000. Starring an ensemble cast, including Phil Davis, Rupert Penry-Jones, Helen McCrory and Kevin McKidd, the programme is set around the practice of a barristers' chambers in Leeds. The series was filmed in and around the real life Park Square, Leeds. This is the area in the city where the majority of barristers' chambers are concentrated. ''Badger'' is a British television police procedural drama series, broadcast between 11 July 1999 and 1 September 2000. Produced by Feelgood Films, and broadcast on BBC One, a total of thirteen episodes were broadcast over the course of two series. The series stars Jerome Flynn as lead character Tom McCabe, a police wildlife liaison officer, who is tasked with fighting wildlife crime in his home county of Northumberland. The series was created by ''Ballykissangel'' creator Kieran Prendiville, and the character of McCabe was based upon a close associate of Prendiville, Paul Henery, who was himself a police wildlife liaison officer at the time of recording. The first series of the British medical drama television series ''Holby City'' commenced airing in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 12 January 1999, and concluded on 9 March 1999. ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936).
