Kevin Curran (cricketer)
Kevin Malcolm Curran (7 September 1959 – 10 October 2012) was a Zimbabwean international cricketer. He was part of Zimbabwe's first One Day International side following independence at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. He went on to be the head coach of the Zimbabwe national cricket team from August 2005 until September 2007. Born in 1959 at Rusape in the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, he played in 324 first-class and 407 List A cricket matches. He also possessed an Irish passport as his paternal grandfather moved to Rhodesia in 1902. International career Curran was first called into the Zimbabwe team as part of an unofficial tour of Sri Lanka in 1980. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut on 9 June 1983 against Australia at the 1983 Cricket World Cup, a match which was Zimbabwe's first ODI. Kevin Curran (footballer, Born 1920)
Kevin Stanley Curran (10 December 1920 – 20 April 1978) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Hawthorn in the VFL during the 1940s. Curran was recruited to Hawthorn from Traralgon and played his first game with them in 1940. A rover, he made his debut in a game against Fitzroy but internal disputes over his selection ensured that it would be the only time he appeared in the season. Instead of staying on at Hawthorn he enlisted in the army, fighting against the Japanese in Dili. In 1946 he made a return to Hawthorn and the following season represented Victoria at the Hobart Carnival, the first on 9 interstate appearances during his career. He won Hawthorn's best and fairest award in 1948, also winning the Simpson Medal for his performance against West Australian in an interstate game. Kevin Patrick Curran (February 27, 1957 – October 25, 2016) was an American television comedy writer. He wrote for ''Late Night with David Letterman'', '' Married... with Children'', and ''The Simpsons''. He was also the voice of Buck the Dog on ''Married... with Children'' (except for several episodes in which Buck was voiced by Cheech Marin). In the sixth season episode "Psychic Avengers", Curran appeared briefly onscreen during the end sequence where, thanks to Madam Inga's curse, the Bundy family is turned into chimpanzees and Buck is turned into a human, in which Curran is credited as "Buck the Man" above the usual final credited character of "Buck the Dog".
