Kevin Colden
Kevin Colden is an American comic book writer and artist, as well as a webcomic artist. His work has been published in print by Zuda Comics, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, Alternative Comics, and Top Shelf Productions. In 2007 Colden received a Xeric Grant to complete his graphic novel ''Fishtown'' (2008); the book was nominated for an Eisner Award in 2009. Early life Colden graduated in 2001 from the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. Career Colden's career began in 2003, writing and illustrating short horror/humor stories for House of Twelve, Asylum Press and Media-Blasters. In 2006, he co-founded The Chemistry Set webcomic collective, where he created the horror comic ''Todt Hill'' with writer Neil Kleid. Big Apple Convention
The Big Apple Comic Con is a New York City comic book convention, the longest-running comic book/speculative fiction/pop culture convention in New York City. Neil Kleid
Neil Kleid (born 1975) is an American cartoonist who received a 2003 Xeric Award grant for his graphic novella ''Ninety Candles'' (2004). Raised in Oak Park, Michigan, he lives in New Jersey Kleid wrote '' Brownsville'', a graphic novel about Murder, Inc., with Jake Allen; '' The Big Kahn'', a graphic novel about family, faith, and con men, with Nicolas Cinquegrani, for NBM Publishing; and ''Ursa Minors!'', an action/comedy mini-series for Slave Labor Graphics. ''Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising'' (abbreviated as G&H or GnH) was a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game developed by Heatwave Interactive and released in 2011 for Microsoft Windows. The game was set in Ancient Rome, and combined historical elements and enemies (Etruscans, Faliscans, etc.) with mythological ones (Cyclopes, Gorgons, etc.). Players selected era-appropriate classes (Soldiers, Gladiators, Mystics, and Priests), each of which could be aligned with an Olympian god (such as Jupiter or Mars). ''Joe Palooka'' was an American comic strip about a heavyweight boxing champion, created by cartoonist Ham Fisher. The strip debuted on April 19, 1930 and was carried at its peak by 900 newspapers. It was cancelled in 1984.
