Kevin Bulmer
Kevin Bulmer (1962, in Solihull – 12 November 2011, in Tettenhall), also known as Kev Bulmer, was an English artist, game designer and president of the graphic design and video game company Synthetic Dimensions, which was co-founded by him in 1985. Earlier in his career, he was a contributor to ''White Dwarf'' magazine. In 2009, Bulmer was given an honorary degree by the University of Wolverhampton for being a "pioneer of 3D image technology and computer games development", in particular for developing "a world-leading two-dimensional (2D) to 3D image conversion system which has been used worldwide by companies such as Nike, Reebok, Peugeot, Disney, EMI and Newline Cinema". Bulmer announced his plans to re-enter the video game industry in 2008, but died in 2011 of prostate cancer. Solihull (, or ) is a market town and the administrative centre of the wider Metropolitan Borough of Solihull in West Midlands County, England. The town had a population of 126,577 at the 2021 Census. Solihull is situated on the River Blythe in the Forest of Arden area. Solihull's wider borough had a population of 216,240 at the 2021 Census. is a video game released in 1989 for various home computer systems and consoles. It is a sequel to ''Heroes of the Lance''. Gameplay Like ''Heroes of the Lance'' it is arcade oriented, with few RPG elements. The style of the game is very much like its predecessor, horizontally scrolling fighting controlling one character at a time. Plot It is based on the second Dragonlance campaign module, '' Dragons of Flame'', and the second half of the first Dragonlance novel ''Dragons of Autumn Twilight''. The plot is a faithful representation of the books it is based on. Development ''Dragons of Flame'' was adapted from the '' Dragons of Flame'' printed adventure module. ''The Flash'' is a 1993 action video game based on ''The Flash'' TV series on CBS. It was developed and manufactured by Sega and Probe Entertainment for the Master System. Gameplay The game is played from the typical platform style of the scrolling side on, 2D, 3rd person viewpoint. The player controls Flash though the levels in which they must achieve 2 primary goals. *A) Find the switch which opens the level exit and then: *B) make it to the exit within the time limit. There is also a secondary goal of collecting the gems that were stolen which increases the players score. If the player fails to make it to the exit within the time limit the FED tracks Flash down and kills him upon contact.
