Medan
Medan (; English: ) is the capital and largest city of the Indonesian province of North Sumatra, as well as a regional hub and financial centre of Sumatra. Medan City Hall
Old Medan City Hall is a building located on Jalan Balai Kota (City Hall Street), Medan, North Sumatra. Description The Old Medan City Hall was built in 1908 during the Dutch colonial period. The building was designed by C. Boon, an architect for the Deli Group. The City Hall is kilometre zero in Medan, and was originally built for the Bank of Java (now Bank Indonesia), but was instead purchased by the City Council of Medan. Its bell was donated in 1913 from the Tjong A Fie Mansion. Medan City Hall is now owned and managed by the ''Grand CityHall Hotel'' hotel-office-retail complex, situated just behind it. Hotel De Boer
NV Hotel Mijn de Boer (more popularly called by Hotel de Boer, now Inna Dharma Deli Hotel) is a Dutch colonial style hotel located on the Cremerweg (now Jalan Balai Kota), Medan, Dutch East Indies, current-day Indonesia. The hotel was built in 1898 by Workum native and Dutch businessman Aeint Herman de Boer. De Boer migrated to Dutch East Indies in late nineteenth century. First, he settled in Surabaya and became a part proprietor of a restaurant in Surabaya. In 1809, he migrated to Medan and began his new business. In early 1898, he built Hotel De Boer which just cointaned a restaurant, a bar, and seven rooms. In 1909, de Boer expanded his hotel by adding 40 rooms. In 1930, Hotel De Boer was expanded by adding 120 rooms and a huge hall. Medan Post Office
The Medan Post and Telegraph Office (Indonesian: Kantor Pos Medan) is a historic building in Medan, Indonesia. It was designed by Ir. S. Snuyf from Burgelijke Openbare Werken (BOW) and opened in 1911. Located in downtown Medan, several other important colonial era buildings are located nearby including Old City Hall Medan, Inna Dharma Deli Hotel, Grand Mosque, Maimoon Palace, Immanuel Church, Tjong A Fie Mansion and Sri Mariamman Temple.
