Kesari is a 2018 Nigerian Yoruba-language action film produced by Ibrahim Yekini. It was directed by Tope Adebayo. Production In an interview, writer and producer Ibrahim Yekini said that the film was inspired by the action scenes he saw in the 2018 superhero film ''Black Panther.'' Yoruba (, ; Yor. '; Ajami script, Ajami: ) is a language spoken in West Africa, primarily in South West (Nigeria), Southwestern Middle Belt, and Central Nigeria. Femi Adebayo Salami (born 31 December 1978) is a Nigerian film director, film actor, lawyer, producer and Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism. He is the son of the veteran actor Adebayo Salami. Early life Adebayo was born on 31 December 1978 in Lagos, southwest Nigeria. His father, who is a veteran Nigerian actor Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), hails from Ilorin, Kwara State. Adebayo Ayoade Salami (26 July 1951 – 7 January 2021) was a Nigerian politician who served as Senator representing the Osun State Central constituency at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic running on the Alliance for Democracy (AD) platform. He resumed office on 29 May 1999. After taking his seat in the Senate in June 1999, he was then appointed to committees on Public Accounts, Labor (vice-chairman), Power & Steel and Water Resources. In a May 2001 debate over importing beans from Burkina Faso, Bayo Salami was in the minority when he argued that whatever could be done to feed Nigerians and make food affordable to the people should be done. Muyiwa Ademola (born 26 January 1973), also known as Muyiwa Authentic, is a Nigerian actor, film producer, and director. In 2005, his film ''ORI'' (Fate) won the best indigenous film at the 1st Africa Movie Academy Awards.
