Kerry Peers
Kerry Peers (born 1 November 1964) is a British actress who is best known for her role in ''The Bill'' where she played Suzi Croft from 1993 to 1998. She has also been in ''Casualty (TV series), Casualty'', ''Doctors (2000 TV series), Doctors'', ''Holby City'', ''Brookside (TV series), Brookside'' and appeared on '' Coronation Street'' from October 2019 to January 2020. Early life Kerry Roberta Peers was born on 1 November 1964 in the small village of Northop Hall,Hayward 1996, p. 197 near Mold in North Wales, where she spent her childhood. Acting Peers moved to London, where she attended the Central School of Speech and Drama. On leaving drama school she performed in a number of plays, such as Les liaisons dangereuses (with the Royal Shakespeare Company) and was also in the original cast of Alan Ayckbourn's ''Mr A's Amazing Maze Plays'' at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. Northop Hall
Northop Hall ( cy, Neuadd Llaneurgain) is a large village and community near Mold, in Flintshire, Wales. Located to the east of Northop, near the A55 North Wales Expressway, the village is largely residential in character. At the 2001 Census, the village of Northop Hall had a population of 1,665, falling to 1,530 at the 2011 census. The village has one pub, The Top Monkey (formerly known as The Boar's Head); until recently there was a second, the Black Lion, and they were universally known locally as the 'Top Monkey' and 'Bottom Monkey'. There are active cricket and hockey clubs. The hall that gives the village its name is a 13th-century manor house which is located in close proximity to Smithy Lane and the Mold to Connah's Quay road. Oldham Coliseum Theatre
Oldham Coliseum Theatre is a theatre in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. Found on Fairbottom Street in the town centre, Oldham's Coliseum is a repertory theatre which celebrated its centenary in 1987. Its interior makes it a great period classic in theatre terms, and has seen the likes of local performers such as Eric Sykes, Charlie Chaplin, Dame Thora Hird and Dora Bryan tread its boards. The history of the theatre can be traced back to 1885. It was originally intended to be a permanent home for the Great American Circus, then based on Henshaw Street, but the owner of the circus, Mr Myers, was unable to pay for the completed work. Following a court case, ownership of the building was granted to Thomas Whittaker, the carpenter who had performed the work. Whittaker decided to open the Coliseum as a theatre and the first production was called Culver's Circus. Marvin Neil Simon (July 4, 1927 – August 26, 2018) was an American playwright, screenwriter and author. He wrote more than 30 plays and nearly the same number of movie screenplays, mostly film adaptations of his plays. He has received more combined Academy Award, Oscar and Tony Award nominations than any other writer. Simon grew up in New York City during the Great Depression. His parents' financial difficulties affected their marriage, giving him a mostly unhappy and unstable childhood. He often took refuge in movie theaters, where he enjoyed watching early comedians like Charlie Chaplin. ''One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'' (1963) is a play based on Ken Kesey's 1962 novel of the same name. Productions Dale Wasserman's stage adaptation, with music by Teiji Ito, made its Broadway preview on November 12, 1963, its premiere on November 13, and ran until January 25, 1964 for a total of one preview and 82 performances. Since then, the play has had two revivals: first off-Broadway in 1971, directed by Lee Sankowich with Danny DeVito as Martini, then as a Broadway production in 2001 with Gary Sinise as McMurphy.
