Kerr Waddell
Kerr Waddell (born 14 June 1998) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Montrose. He previously played for Dundee and on loan for Clyde and Greenock Morton. Club career Waddell is a product of Dundee's youth academy. Having featured regularly for Dundee's U20 side, including playing in a Challenge Cup tie against Cove Rangers, Waddell was named among the substitutes for a handful of senior league games during the 2016–17 season, without making an appearance. On 30 March 2017, Waddell, along with Dundee teammate Kyle Gourlay, signed on loan for Scottish League Two club Clyde until the end of the season. Waddell made his competitive debut for Dundee on 18 July 2017, against Raith Rovers in the Scottish League Cup, replacing Darren O'Dea after 82 minutes. Dundee
Dundee (; sco, Dundee; gd, Dùn Dè or ) is Scotland's fourth-largest city and the 51st-most-populous built-up area in the United Kingdom. The 2020–21 Scottish Championship was the eighth season of the Scottish Championship, the second tier of Scottish football. Ten teams contested the league: Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Ayr United, Dundee, Dunfermline Athletic, Greenock Morton, Heart of Midlothian, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Queen of the South and Raith Rovers. In June 2020, eight of the ten clubs voted in favour of shortening the season from the usual 36 games to 27 (playing each other three instead of four times), with the season starting on 16 October 2020. 2020–21 Scottish League One
The 2020–21 Scottish League One was the eighth season of Scottish League One, the third tier of Scottish football. The season commenced later than usual, on the October 17th, being played over a shortened 22 game period due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Ten teams contested the league: Airdrieonians, Clyde, Cove Rangers, Dumbarton, East Fife, Falkirk, Forfar Athletic, Montrose, Partick Thistle and Peterhead. On 11 January 2021, the league was suspended for three weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 29 January 2021, the suspension was extended until at least 14 February. In March 2021, the Scottish Government gave permission for the league to resume. On 4 March, League One and Two clubs proposed shortening the season to 22 matches, with each team playing all other teams twice, followed by a split in the table to determine the final four matches. 2019–20 Scottish League One
The 2019–20 Scottish League One (known as Ladbrokes League One for sponsorship reasons) was the 25th season in the current format of 10 teams in the third-tier of Scottish football. The fixtures were published in June 2019 and the season began on 3 August 2019. Ten teams contested the league: Airdrieonians, Clyde, Dumbarton, East Fife, Falkirk, Forfar Athletic, Montrose, Peterhead, Raith Rovers and Stranraer. On 13 March 2020 all SPFL leagues were indefinitely suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 8 April, with the pandemic continuing, the SPFL board proposed to curtail the 2019–20 League One season and use the points per game earned by each team to date as the final standings. The plan was approved on 15 April, meaning the league was declared over and Raith Rovers were crowned champions and Stranraer relegated to League 2.
