The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA; ml, കേരളാ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് അസോസിയേഷന്) is the governing body of the game of cricket in the Kerala state of the Republic of India. It is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India and governs the Kerala cricket team. KCA is also the parent body of 14 district associations – one in each of the revenue districts of Kerala, responsible for governing the game of cricket in their respective districts. Minnu Mani (born 24 March 1999) is an Indian international cricketer who represents the Indian women's national team. She plays for Delhi Capitals in Women's Premier League. In domestic cricket, she represents Kerala cricket team. She became the first Kerala woman cricketer to play for India. Early life Minnu hails from Choyimoola in Wayanad district of Kerala. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right arm, right-handed spin bowling, spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. The Women's Senior One Day Trophy, previously known as the Senior Women's One Day League, is a women's List A cricket tournament held in India. 2006–07 Senior Women's One Day League
The 2006–07 Senior Women's One Day League was the inaugural edition of the women's List A cricket competition in India. It took place between November 2006 and January 2007, with 24 teams divided into five regional groups. Railways won the tournament, beating Maharashtra in the final. Competition format The 24 teams competing in the tournament were divided into five zonal groups: Central, East, North, South and West. The tournament operated on a round-robin format, with each team playing every other team in their group once. The top two sides from each group progressed to the knockout stages.
